Oryx Esports Namibia is a trailblazing esports club from Windhoek, Namibia, that champions a thriving gaming community. Starting as a 5-member League of Legends team, we’ve expanded to include players across various games, nurturing talent and camaraderie in esports locally and internationally. We’re all about fostering a supportive environment where gamers can thrive, compete, and share their passion.

When were we founded?
We kicked off our esports journey in August 2021, embarking on an incredible adventure that’s seen us grow from a competitive League of Legends team to a comprehensive esports club that’s a beacon for gamers everywhere.
Why were we founded?

Oryx Esports Namibia was born out of a passion for gaming and the desire to create a welcoming, vibrant community for gamers. Our goal was to not only compete at the highest levels but also to cultivate a supportive space where gamers can connect, grow, and excel, both locally and on the global stage.

Where are we based?
Our hearts beat in Windhoek, Namibia, Africa. From here, we’ve built a community that reaches across borders, connecting gamers from Namibia, South Africa, and beyond. Our roots are local, but our spirit is international.
